Here at Indiefy, we want to help you make the most out of your music and artist career!
If you want to distribute your music for free at Indiefy with a Basic subscription, you need to submit an application for your artist project before you can start releasing music.
This application process only takes 5-10 minutes to fill out and all you need to do is tell us about your project, how much time you invest in it, and how much presence you have on social media.
What can you do if we already rejected your first application?
First of all, don't get discouraged! You can always send us another application within a week (using the same email address).
Check your social networks first, they are key for us to be able to accept or reject your application.
Keep in mind that our team looks into every application carefully. So make sure you put as much heart into the application as you do to your music.
Don't forget to:
- Have your social networks on PUBLIC, not PRIVATE. We need to be able to access your social networks.
- Enter the correct URL into the form. If we cannot access your social media profiles, your application will most likely be rejected.
- Provide us the information about your artist's social networks, not your personal ones (preferably).
Work hard on your social networks
- Post regularly
- Try to build a fan base
- Be sure to create good and matching content
We know how difficult it is to get organic followers but we do take into account all of the efforts you put into your artistic project. If we see this effort on your application it will most likely be accepted.
Add a solid description of your project
Using short phrases like "The best project in the whole world", won't get you very far because what we are looking for is commitment. So try to be as descriptive as possible about your project.
Try to use a good profile picture in the application
We completely understand that you may not have at this moment all the money in the world for a professional photoshoot but avoid sending bathroom selfies or pixelated photos. It is your professional music project we are talking about so try to look your very best!
