When requesting a royalty payment for the first time, it is essential to complete data verification. This process ensures that payments are sent correctly to the artists and not to third parties, protecting the integrity of transactions and complying with security standards. Below, we explain the steps and requirements needed to successfully complete the identity verification process.
Validation Process:
-
Document Upload:
Artists must upload photos of their identity documents through WebSDK, Mobile SDK, or the available API. This step ensures that a valid and legible copy of the document is obtained. -
Document Review:
The system checks the authenticity of the documents, verifies the integrity of the images, and validates the document's data. -
Validation Against External Sources:
The extracted data is cross-referenced with external sources, such as sanctions databases and watchlists, to ensure that the document holder is not associated with illegal activities. -
Manual Review and Results:
The verification results are reviewed, and the payment approval or rejection status is managed accordingly.
