Indiefy is a platform created for independent artists to upload music to the most relevant platforms worldwide through our digital music distribution services.
With the above in mind, there is certain content that we cannot distribute or that can be distributed with limitations in some stores or territories depending on the specifics of each case.
The following rules apply to decide which releases can be reopened or rejected if they fall into any of the following cases, which are not eligible for claiming for monetization purposes:
Exclusive Rights
Any type of sound recordings for which exclusive copyright rights are not owned. This includes covers, unofficial remixes, karaoke, or similar sounds. Compilations, live recordings, and various "best of" releases of artists are generally not eligible, as the copyright rights of all compositions are likely not maintained.
Public Domain Content
Sound recordings or video sequences of public domain compositions. Copyright in the compositions has expired, making the content ineligible for monetization.

Track Duration Exceeds 10 Minutes
Sound recordings that exceed a duration of 10 minutes are marked as ineligible.
Video Game Soundtracks
Sound recordings created primarily for use in a video game, such as the original score or background music accompanying a video game, which are owned by the game's publisher. This policy does not apply to licensed popular music not originally created for the game.
Regarding the usage of content 'ASMR'
The distribution process for content labeled 'ASMR' is rejected by the digital stores aforementioned, additionally, the usage of YouTube's Content ID will be removed from your released, as YouTube doesn't consider it eligible for this type of monetization. The usage of the word can be removed, but this doesn't prevent your content from being rejected from these digital stores, as the word is only represents a faster way to identify the content.
